Redlines
EPC
A redline is the bottom line that covers the installers costs to acquire engineering, procurement, and construction. Anything above this line is considered your profit. A redline is basically your sales floor and this pricing is added to each project prior to the dealers commissions being calculated. To make a profit, you will need to charge above the redline. Being competitive on pricing will help you pencil more deals.
Engineering
Professionally engineered designs are requested by cities to approve your construction permits. Licensed engineers are assigned to these tasks and their fees are factored into the offered redline.
Procurement
Your installer will be responsible for finding, acquiring, and storing all construction materials for your projects. This comes at a cost that has already been factored in your redline.
Construction
Construction teams with licensed electricians and laborers make up a large part of the total cost your installer has to account for. These costs are already included into your redline.
